Eli R. Sharp, President and Chief Executive Officer

Eli is a graduate of The University of Colorado with a bachelor’s Degree in History and has earned the distinction of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) as conferred by the Institute of Certified Bankers. Prior to joining Eleutherian Trust Company, Eli was a Senior Relationship Manager with Wilmington Trust Company, Wealth Advisory Services from 2004 to 2011, specializing in family wealth strategies and trust administration.

Eli resides in Centreville, Delaware with his wife and two children. Eli is a Trustee of the Longwood Foundation, Christiana Care Health Systems, Delaware Wild Lands and The Light Up the Queen Foundation.

Maria Dunlop, Vice President and Sr. Trust Officer

Maria received her B.A. in Consumer Economics from the University of Delaware and has earned the distinction of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) as conferred by the Institute of Certified Bankers. She is a member of the American Bankers Association. Maria has over ten years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Eleutherian Trust Company, Maria worked for Wilmington Trust Company as an Assistant Vice President and Senior Trust Officer in their Wealth Advisory Services department.

Maria resides in Clayton, Delaware with her husband and their two children. In her free time she enjoys baking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Matthew J. Maurer, Chief Technology Officer

Matthew worked eight years at Wilmington Trust Company in the System Administration Unit where he monitored nine bank-wide system applications to ensure uninterrupted service and support. He also performed auditing and management of software licensing to ensure Wilmington Trust’s compliance with contractual guidelines. Matthew also has a vast amount of experience in the field of Trust Operations through several years of working in the Trust Collections and Reorganizations units.
